We are looking for engaged and experienced colleagues who want to help establish a new, long-term collaboration model between schools and social services.

The Education Administration is recruiting 2 Social Pedagogues.

The Labour Market and Social Services Administration is recruiting 4 Case Workers.

This advertisement concerns the recruitment of 2 Social Pedagogues.

About the assignment

We are now launching a pilot project with school social work teams at Sylteskolan and Stavreskolan. The background is an identified need for stronger collaboration to address challenges related to school attendance, safety, students' goal achievement, and the development of the school's health-promoting work. The pilot period covers 24 months, with the ambition to create a model that can be applied to more schools.

As part of the team, you will work closely with school leadership and student health services, with a joint mandate from both the Education Administration and the Social Services, specifically the Preventive Measures and Interventions unit.

Your assignment

You will work both preventively and close to the students at the individual and group level:

  • Participate in the analysis of individual and group needs and contribute to coordinated interventions.
  • Contribute to a health-promoting school environment and support students' opportunities for goal achievement.
  • Act with courage and calmness in complex and challenging situations.
  • Work with student groups on norms and conflict management.
  • Collaborate with guardians, both regarding emerging situations and for preventive purposes.
  • Collaborate with functions in both schools and social services.
  • Help develop a sustainable collaboration model between schools and social services.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a relevant higher education degree, such as in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Behavioral Science, or similar.
  • Have experience working with children and young people.
  • Are accustomed to working in collaboration between different actors.
  • Have a structured and analytical working method.
  • Feel secure working both preventively and in rapidly emerging situations.
